Five minutes to make Platebook yours, in this order.
1. Make it yours
Open Home and type your own name and one line in the hero. Then open the CMS: Projects holds the 12 plates (Title, Year, Discipline, Role, Days, Summary, Cover, Body). Replace the first six first, because they show on Home.
2. Swap the plates
On Home, select a plate photo layer called Develop Image and pick your own picture in the Image control. Brush, Trail and Rest colour change how it develops; the effect switches itself off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
3. Fonts and colours
Everything uses styles: 9 colour styles with a Paper (light) and an Ink (dark) set, and 13 text styles in Instrument Serif, Geist and Geist Mono. Change a style once and the whole site follows. The Paper / Ink switch is in the nav.
4. Before you publish
Update About and Contact, then the Journal and Testimonials collections. Check phone and tablet. The site needs a Framer Pro plan to publish because it has 3 CMS collections. Delete this page when you are done.
